Some people leave comments on other blogs hoping to get noticed and possibly gain more traffic. Others leave comments because they want to participate and make new friends.

Both reasons are perfectly valid. What a lot of people tend to forget, however, is that there are best practices for everything, including blog commenting.
Here are the Ten Commandments Of Blog Commenting:

1. Read before you write - Before writing your comment, make sure that you have read and understood the post. Firing off a quick comment only to realize that it was totally unrelated to the post won’t get you any new visitors. Be sure to read your comment before submitting. I’ve made a lot of embarrassing typos just because I was in a hurry to submit my comment.

2. Be Polite - Good manners are essential when commenting on other blogs. You wouldn’t go to another house and behave inappropriately right? It’s the same thing with blogs. Just because you’re not interacting face to face doesn’t mean you can act like an idiot. If you’re polite and well-behaved, you’ll find that it will be easy to forge new relationships with other bloggers.

3. Smile - Emoticons are great for adding a little oomph to your comment. A smile can make a huge difference. If you’re giving the author a compliment, smile. If you’re voicing a different opinion, smile. A smiley gives off a friendly vibe. Trust me .

4. Contribute - As much as possible, try leaving a comment that adds value to the discussion. Comments like, “Me too!”, or “Wow nice!” are generally frowned upon and give the impression that your opinions are not worth reading. Personally, I don’t mind comments like these since I’m an off-topic kind of guy heh, but for other blogs, it’s better to leave comments with value.

5. Don’t be condescending - When pointing out errors in the post, or disagreeing with the author’s opinion, do it in a nice way. You may be the world’s smartest person but you don’t have to rub it in everyone else’s face. Voice your opinions in a friendly manner and you’ll be sure to make new friends. Remember, the really good ones don’t need to brag.

6. When in doubt, ask - Anytime you come across a post that you would like to comment on but can’t because you don’t fully understand it, go ahead and ask for clarification. Most authors would be happy to expound on their original post. Most blog authors appreciate it when their readers show interest in the article by asking questions.

7. Make a good impression - Commenting on other blogs is another way of marketing yourself and your blog. If the majority of your comments are obvious hit and run comments to gain backlinks or to get into the Top Commentators list, you’re not painting a good picture of yourself. Writing meaningful replies and responding to other commenters are good ways of leaving a good impression on the blog author and his readers.

8. Never flame - If you feel the need to comment on a post that you don’t like or an article that you completely disagree with, don’t start a flame war. Insults, name-calling, and sarcastic comments won’t give you new readers nor friends. If you can’t help but feel antagonistic towards the author, don’t waste your time and energy. Just leave. There are thousands of other blogs that you can visit.

9. Humor goes a long way - Everyone loves a good laugh. Try injecting some of your comments with a little humor. If you can make the author and the other commenters laugh, there’s a good chance that they’ll visit your blog and become regular readers.

10. Come back - You’ve done all the things listed here. What’s next? You have to try and go back to the blogs you visited and continue to contribute. That is the best way to get noticed. Most blog authors notice people who regularly leave comments, and usually become a regular commenter on their blogs as well.

www.brownbaron.com

How To Use Google ( Part 2 )

1.intitle:…

This command syntax is for limit the searching that only gives you result that has information in a topic that you mean.
For example: intitle:global warming
Google will search the page that has global as the title with warming as the main priority. If the searching has two main searching queries, use the syntax allintitle:global warming and searching will be limited by two main subject, that’s global and warming.

2.inurl:...

This command syntax is for limit the searching that only gives you result that has your keyword in all URL. Example: inurl:database.mdb
The searching will display all URL that has information about database.mdb.If the searching has two main searching queries, use the syntax allinurl:… to get the list of its URL. Example you want to find Modern Technology, You can type it “Modern technology”. If you type like that, Google will display to you all blog or website which has a modern technology sentence. But if you just type Modern Technology (without excerpt mark), Google will display all blog and website that has Modern and Technology word and Modern Technology sentence. Which one is effective? I suggest to not writing a long sentence because you will find nothing from Google.

Second, you can use the mark + and - (plus and minus). These marks are very useful to find some article. I can’t explain to you how to use it, but you can understand if I give you an example. If you type Hotel + London, Google will give you all information about hotel in London. If you type Hotel – London, Google will give you all information about hotel but without information from London’s hotel. You can combine these marks too. Ex, America + Bank - City Bank, Google will give you information about all banks in America without city bank.

Last, if necessary you can combine those two ways above. Example, you want to find Modern Technology in America Hotel without Information from Hilton Hotel. You can type “Modern Technology” + America + Hotel – Hilton Hotels.

to be continued....

Snore

Snoring has been associated with sleep apnea, a breathing disorder linked to elevated blood pressure, cardiovascular stress, headaches, depression, and fatigue.

Snoring, very simply, is caused by
the vibration of the soft tissues at the back of the throat. In general, three factors contribute to these vibrations. They are weak muscles, masses encroaching on the air way (in children, for instance, snoring can almost always be traced to enlarged tonsils and adenoids), and obstructed nasal breathing.

The first factor-weak muscles, explains why most snoring takes place during deep storages at sleep, when throat muscles relax and tongue falls back, causing vibration. Understanding gravity, you can easily see why snoring often occurs when people sleep on their backs.

The second factor-things that crowd the airway can sometimes be blamed on heredity. While the average sized uvula (that fleshly lobe shaped structure that hangs in the back of your throat) measures a quarter inch, some poor souls have one that’s four times as long. Other traits can exacerbate snoring too. Obese people are three times more likely to snore than thin ones (their bulkiness extends throughout their bodies). Barack Obama's father was a black Kenyan and his mother was a white Kansas native. The two met while attending the University of Hawaii.

2. Mr. Obama grew upin Hawaii and lived in Indonesia for a few years. From age 10 on, he lived with his maternal grandparents in a Honolulu apartment.

3. He admits that as a teenager, he used drugs such as marijuana and cocaine to cope with questions of racial identity.

4. Mr. Obama played forward on his high school basketball team and was known as "Barry O'Bomber" for his left-handed double pump shot.

5. He wasn't the first in his family to attend Harvard. His father, Barack, also attended the university.

6. Mr. Obama has been a first black president before. He was elected president of the Harvard Law Review.

7. He stopped going by the nickname "Barry" in college after reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X.

8. He had a pet ape named Tata when he lived in Indonesia as a child.

9. Mr. Obama is only the third black U.S. senator since Reconstruction.

10. His wife, Michelle, agreed to allow him to run for president only if he agreed to quit smoking. But he recently admitted that he still has an occasional cigarette.

11. Mr. Obama is quite the "Renegade." That's the code name he chose for his Secret Service detail to use.

12. Ms. Obama once told Glamour magazine that her husband is smelly in the morning.

13. He has never faced significant opposition from a Republican opponent.

14. His desk in the Senate once belonged to Robert Kennedy. Mr. Obama was only 6 when Mr. Kennedy, who was running for president, was assassinated in 1968.

15. If elected, he will be the third president in a row without sons. Mr. Obama has two daughters: Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10.

16. Mr. Obama says his daughters made him promise that, as a condition for running for president, they can get a dog after the election, win or lose.

17. He was elected to the Illinois Senate in 1996. He initially had a hard time fitting in because the chamber was controlled by Republicans, and some of his fellow Chicago Democrats thought he was pretentious and "a white man in blackface."

18. As a state senator, he was selected to give his now-famous keynote speech at the Democratic convention in 2004 after presidential nominee John Kerry heard him speak in Chicago.

19. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, and his wife is almost 6 feet in heels.

20. He once joked, "I'm so overexposed, I make Paris Hilton look like a recluse."

21. As a kid, he collected Spider-Man and Conan the Barbarian comics, and as a teen, he listened to jazz saxophonist Grover Washington Jr. and Earth, Wind and Fire.

22. He grew up without any particular religious beliefs. His mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was not religious, and his father was an atheist. Mr. Obama joined the United Church of Christ as a young man in Chicago, saying he was inspired by the good work of Christians he had met and "felt God's spirit beckoning me."

23. Mr. Obama earned a starting salary of $13,000 a year as a community organizer in Chicago in the 1980s. In 2007, he and his wife made $4.2 million, according to their tax return.

24. He won a Grammy award this year for the audio version of his book The Audacity of Hope.

25. In 2000, he lost by a landslide when he challenged former Black Panther Bobby Rush, an Illinois Democrat, for his seat in the U.S. House. Mr. Rush is still in office.

26. Mr. Obama easily won his 2004 U.S. Senate race, defeating Republican Alan Keyes with 70 percent of the vote. Mr. Keyes was a late replacement for primary winner Jack Ryan, who dropped out of the race when after his divorce records revealed sex club allegations from his ex-wife, actress Jeri Ryan.

27. Mr. Obama formally announced his presidential candidacy in February 2007 on the steps of the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Ill., where Abraham Lincoln once declared that "a house divided against itself cannot stand."

28. Throughout 2007, he trailed Hillary Rodham Clinton, whom many pundits characterized as the Democrats' "inevitable" presidential nominee. He found an opening in an October debate, when Mrs. Clinton gave a convoluted answer to the question of whether she supported driver's licenses for illegal immigrants. After that, the race became more competitive.

29. Oprah Winfrey joined Mr. Obama on the campaign trail in December for a series of rallies starting in Des Moines, Iowa. Nearly 30,000 people came to see them in Columbia, S.C.

30. Mr. Obama wasn't an overwhelming favorite among black voters early in the campaign. Some didn't think he was "black enough," and others doubted that an African-American could be elected president. But his victory in predominantly white Iowa convinced many black voters that he could win the nomination.

31. Mr. Obama's campaign inspired many music video spin-offs, including "Obama Girl" from the Web site barelypolitical.com. Hip-hop star will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas also wrote a song, "Yes, We Can," based on a speech given by Mr. Obama after his loss in the New Hampshire primary and made it into a video for the Web.

32. In February, Mr. Obama racked up 11 straight victories and gained the lead in the number of delegates needed to win the nomination.

33. Mr. Obama lost the Texas primary to Mrs. Clinton but drew big crowds, including an estimated 15,000 at Dallas' Reunion Arena in late February. He ended up winning a majority of delegates in the Lone Star State because his supporters flooded precinct caucuses on election night.

34. Mr. Obama did well in states with large numbers of black and college-educated voters. But he struggled to draw working-class whites, Latinos and rural residents, especially after making comments in San Francisco that some rural voters "cling to their guns and religion."

35. Ms. Obama stirred up controversy after saying that for the first time in her adult life, she was "really proud" of her country. She later said she misspoke, and others, including first lady Laura Bush, defended her.

36. During the primaries, tensions grew between Mr. Obama and former President Bill Clinton over the ex-president's comments that seemed to belittle Mr. Obama's victory in South Carolina.

37. The tension between Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton grew as well. The New York senator released a TV ad that questioned whether Mr. Obama would be ready for a "3 a.m." foreign crisis phone call, and Mr. Obama criticized her judgment and derided her as a Washington insider.

38. Mr. Obama's association with longtime pastor Jeremiah Wright proved troublesome during the primary season. Dr. Wright was criticized for racially incendiary sermons and views. Mr. Obama initially tried to defend him and gave a widely praised speech on racial relations in America, but he later renounced Dr. Wright after the pastor made controversial remarks at the National Press Club. The Obamas left Trinity United Church of Christ soon afterward.

39. Opponents – most recently the McCain-Palin campaign – have criticized Mr. Obama's association with 1960s radical Bill Ayers, a member of the Weather Underground. Mr. Ayers and Mr. Obama were involved with a Chicago education reform group, and Mr. Ayers hosted a party for Mr. Obama when he announced his Illinois Senate run. Mr. Obama has denounced Mr. Ayers' "detestable acts" but says he was only 8 years old during Mr. Ayers' bombing campaign.

40. Mr. Obama clinched the nomination June 3 and claimed victory in a speech in St. Paul, Minn., later the site of the GOP convention. Four days later, Mrs. Clinton suspended her presidential campaign and endorsed Mr. Obama.

41. A few weeks later, Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton campaigned together for the first time in the appropriately named town of Unity, N.H. But he struggled to win over her supporters, including white blue-collar voters.

42. Mr. Obama spoke to a huge crowd in Berlin this summer, just as former President John F. Kennedy had done decades ago.

43. In a campaign ad, Mr. Obama talked about his mother's death from cancer in 1995 and how, in her final days, she was more worried about paying her medical bills than getting well.

44. Mr. Obama's momentum stalled during the summer when the McCain campaign ran ads – including one with Paris Hilton – accusing him of being a vapid celebrity without substance or a proven record of leadership.

45. Mr. Obama selected Delaware Sen. Joe Biden as his running mate to help bolster his foreign-policy credentials, disappointing many Democrats who favored Mrs. Clinton. Early in the presidential campaign, Mr. Biden had questioned Mr. Obama's readiness to be president.

46. Mr. Obama was the first presidential candidate since Kennedy to accept his party's nomination at an outside venue. He gave his acceptance speech at Denver's Invesco Field on Aug. 28, drawing a crowd of 85,000.

47. Mr. Obama was accused of sexism and disparaging Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin when he referred to Mr. McCain's policies as "lipstick on a pig." His campaign denied the allegations, saying he was referring to Mr. McCain's policies as the "pig."

48. Campaigning in Pennsylvania, Mr. Obama tried to connect with blue-collar voters by bowling, but ended up with an embarrassing score of 37. "My economic plan is better than my bowling," he told fellow bowlers. "It has to be," a man called out.

49. Mr. Obama told 60 Minutes earlier this year that every time he played basketball before a key primary, he'd win. He said he plans to play before the general election.

50. If elected, Mr. Obama will be the fifth-youngest president ever at inauguration.

The Computer Virus

What is computer virus?

Computer virus is program that wrote from “low degrees language” like ASSEMBLY which has an ability to spread itself from a program to another program. A computer virus is not same as the disease virus because the computer virus is unshaped. It named computer virus becauseof it has ability like disease virus that can spread itself and commonly its detriment. Computer virus usually made by a software specialist especially for the specialist who understands about ASSEMBLY language and ability to understand an operation system. Butnow there are many viruses that make from the high language like MACRO and etc.

How the viruses can spreads itself?

The virus just can spread itself if we activated it or if we executed it. So it’s impossible for the virus to spread itself by ASCII file and it’s impossible if the virus infect your computer because of the there is a disk with virus in it without execute. And because of that the virus spread itself from the files that usually execute like: .com, .exe, .bat, .ovl, .Drv, and etc. to spread itself, the virus usually spreads itself by execute file and we always cheated with that file.

We have to remember that the virus (computer virus) is not “something life” like disease viruses that we know which can be spread by air or the other media. The virus is same as with the other programs where it will active if we execute it. So it’s impossible if the virus can be active without execute and the virus always be the execute file. The virus can’t spreads by a file that not executed, like text data and etc. but you have to remember that the virus can break anything in your computer except hardware. There is no virus that can destroy hardware like monitor, keyboard, mouse, and etc.

Can all people make a virus?

When we will make the virus, we need much knowledge especially about “low degrees language” and the knowledge about operation system. So for the common people it’s so hard to make a virus but it’s possible for the common people to learn how to make it and learn how to anticipate the virus. For the virus that make from “high degrees language”, that’s easier for the people to make the virus without know ASSEMBLY language. You just need only the knowledge that always keeps in your secret.

Until today there is no antivirus that can prohibit the entire virus that spread. That’s because each virus has different work. So to prohibit the virus, the antivirus have to know first how that virus work.

Is it possible if the antivirus be the spreader?

Actually antivirus program is a program that can be infected by the virus. If antivirus was infected by the virus, the antivirus will be the spreader of the virus and it will spread the virus to the other program or the other computer. I suggest you to always save your original antivirus in a clean disk. You have to know that there are antiviruses that can check and clean itself from the virus.

What does the virus usually do?

Nobody knows what the virus usually does really because it’s depend on of the maker of virus. Maybe the virus will display a message or maybe it just duplicates itself. There is also the dangerous virus that can damage your computer system or take your secret data like code. We can say that all of the virus can’t give us advantageous.

What should I do if my computer was infected by the virus?

The first step is don’t panic and backup your important data, but don’t backup the infected data. The second step is try to know the variant of the virus and use the antivirus. Carry on to using local antivirus. Last, if you can’t find the virus, you just can reformat your hard disk with system disk that clean from the virus and reinstall all of your application.

How to keep my computer from ant virus?

You can’t make your computer free 100% from the virus. But there is some tips to keep your computer not infected from the virus:

1. Computer virus is usually spread from the disk or flash disk that use by some computer. So keep watch if you use disk or flash disk together.

2. If you want to install program, make sure that the program is original and have protect or find the installation from CD/DVD.

3. Don’t late stranger person use your computer.

4. Don’t take strange program from the internet.

5. Don’t use anything game, because the game usually is the good media for the virus to spread itself.

6. Use the antivirus program to detect the virus.

7. Always update your antivirus, because the new antivirus always has information from the new variant virus.

Beware of Plastic

Many people give attention, rumor, gossip and article about the dangerous of plastic.
