How To Use Google ( Part 2 )

  • 1.intitle:…

    This command syntax is for limit the searching that only gives you result that has information in a topic that you mean.
    For example: intitle:global warming
    Google will search the page that has global as the title with warming as the main priority. If the searching has two main searching queries, use the syntax allintitle:global warming and searching will be limited by two main subject, that’s global and warming.


    2.inurl:...

    This command syntax is for limit the searching that only gives you result that has your keyword in all URL. Example: inurl:database.mdb
    The searching will display all URL that has information about database.mdb.If the searching has two main searching queries, use the syntax allinurl:… to get the list of its URL. Example allinurl:etc/passwd, the result will display to you all URL that has information about etc and passwd. Slash between two word will be ignored by Google.


    3.Site:...

    This syntax is for limit the searching from an information query based on a site or domain. Example: waveguide site:itb.ac.id Search engine will find out the topic about wave guide in all pages that available in .itb .ac .id domain.


    4.Cache:...

    It will display to you list of web in Google database. For example cache:deffcon.org ,the searching will display the list that had save in Google for page deffcon.org.


    5.Filetype:…

    This command syntax is for search data with certain extension (.e. doc, pdf or ppt etc). example : filetype:doc site:go.id confidential, google will display data file with extension .doc in all go.id domain, that has confidential information.


    6.link:…

    That’s Google syntax to display the list of WebPages that has the link in special webpage. For example link:www.securityfocus.com will show to you list of webpage that has link point in securityfocus page.


    7.related:…

    This syntax will give you list of WebPages that has similar homepage that you indicated.


    8.intext:…

    This syntax is for find out the words in a certain website. This command will ignore link or URL and page title. Example: intext:admin , searching will give you link in a web page that has admin keyword.


    You can use many combinations from the command syntax above. It does depend on your creativity and your logic. You can use the syntax for the crime in on line world like steal a password. But it’s better and more useful if you use the syntax for humanity benefit. So, think it...
